An ASCRS Documentary on LASIK in the Military

The program was created to educate the public on the rigors of the clinical research, dedication and discipline that went into evaluating the safety and effectiveness of LASIK under the most extreme, mission critical conditions encountered by the military's elite personnel. It also reveals how the adoption of laser vision correction by the Department of Defense (DOD) and NASA has created a new pool of talented and skilled men and women who want to serve in elite military units but were unable to due to their visual constraints.
